Make A Friend

Make A Friend is a nonprofit dedicated to helping people connect, share ideas, and organize their lives. We’re here to talk to you, assist with pre-existing resources, and provide informational support for your day-to-day needs—whether it’s researching, starting a business, or just getting your thoughts in order.

We’re starting small, so responses might take 2 to 24 hours, but we promise to get back to you. Our chat center, community guidelines, privacy policies, and legal policies are coming soon. For now, we’re purely informational, but we aim to grow—with your support—through fundraisers and donations to cover costs.

What We Do

• We are not medical officials, doctors, or lawyers. We do not practice medicine or law.
• Conversations stop if you talk about harming yourself or others—call 911 or the Suicide Hotline (988).
• Chats are confidential (one-on-one) unless in a group setting, where community guidelines apply.

We’re not money-hungry—we want to help freely. Donations are optional and appreciated to help us help you. No long-term commitments required. AI features (e.g., organizing info) may come later, but you’ll always talk to real humans for now.
